STORE MANAGER
To effectively manage all Sales, Operations, and Human Resources activities in the store ensuring that annual budget results are met.
To provide leadership and direction to all Associates to uphold the Customer Service and Quality standards.
Specific Objectives and Tasks:
1. Participate in the development of the store budgets with the Regional Manager that meet the sales, contribution, and return on asset needs of the company.
2. Effectively plan and monitor staff scheduling in the store to optimize sales generation and Customer Service, consistent with the company’s labour resource guidelines and hours of work policies and practices.
3. Communicate Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to sales teams daily.
4. Monitor Key Performance Indicators on a daily basis. At the end of each day a variance greater than budget must be reported to your store team with corrective action steps or learning, clearly outlined.
5. Monitor actual performance against the budget and, with your team, make such adjustments as are necessary to ensure budget is met. Communicate your plans to your Regional Manager.
6. Effectively manage all other expense categories to protect Store Contribution performance.
